DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke field hockey team was one of 79 Division I programs to earn the 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Team Academic Award, as announced by the organization on Monday morning.
The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
The Blue Devils compiled a team GPA of 3.73 last fall as a program-record 19 student-athletes were named to the 2020 NFHCA National Academic Squad. Junior

Alayna Burns and
Morgan Fletcher received NFHCA Scholars of Distinction honors.
While under the direction of head coach
Pam Bustin, Duke has reeled in the NFHCA National Team Academic Award all 10 seasons.
