Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase to guests age 21 and older at all concessions locations throughout Jack Coombs Field. Alcohol sales conclude at the end of the sixth inning.
Event staff reserve the right to limit or refuse alcohol sales to any guest at any time. Guests who violate alcohol policies may be subject to ejection and further action by Duke University Police.
Guests age 21 and older who plan to provide safe, sober transportation for their group are encouraged to sign the Designated Driver Pledge at the marketing table through the end of the third inning. Participants will receive a complimentary concessions voucher, while supplies last.
Duke Athletics follows a consistent animal policy across all venues, including Jack Coombs Field:
An ATM is located next to the Johnson Family Team Store at the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center. The ATM dispenses cash only.
Purses, small bags, strollers and backpacks are permitted. Duffel bags and large bags greater than 14” x 14” x 8” are not permitted. Reasonable exceptions may be made for medical or childcare needs.
All bags and personal items are subject to search upon entry. Duke University reserves the right to deny any item or individual from entering the venue. There is no area available to check or store prohibited items.
For the safety of all guests, bags or items may not be left unattended outside the venue. Unattended items will be handled in a manner deemed appropriate by venue officials, which may include disposal. Duke University and Duke Athletics are not responsible for lost or unattended items.
Banners and signs are permitted. Duke University reserves the right to prohibit or require the removal of any banner or sign that obstructs the view of other guests, obscures stadium signage, may be considered an advertisement, or is determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate or derogatory.
Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use only. Cameras with lenses longer than four inches are not permitted. Video cameras may be used during warm-ups and between innings but are prohibited from filming live game action.
In case of an emergency, contact the nearest Duke Athletics staff member or call Duke Police at (919) 684-2444. Durham Police should be contacted by dialing 911 for off-campus emergencies.
If you observe any unusual, suspicious or concerning activity, report it immediately to the nearest law enforcement officer or event staff member.
Emergency vehicles may be present in and around the venue. Do not block fire lanes, exits or emergency access routes. Any vehicles or objects obstructing these areas will be removed. Vehicles are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
As an outdoor venue, Jack Coombs Field is subject to weather conditions. Duke Game Operations will monitor weather throughout the event. In the event of severe weather, guests should follow all PA announcements and instructions from Duke Athletics staff.
Duke Athletics staff will assist guests with disabilities during an emergency or evacuation upon request. Guests are encouraged to familiarize themselves with accessible exits upon arrival.
Guests should identify the nearest exit and an alternate exit upon arrival and pre-determine a meeting location inside and outside the venue in the event of separation.
All gates open one hour prior to the scheduled start of the game. Guests may leave and re-enter at any time with a valid ticket plus re-entry stamp, subject to game day policies and security procedures upon re-entry.
Outside food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not permitted inside the venue. Exceptions may be made for medical or childcare needs. Guests are encouraged to dispose of trash and recycling in the appropriate receptacles.
Concessions operated by Proof of the Pudding are available. Concession stands are located on the third-base side of the stadium and in the outfield under the batter's eye.
Concessions purchases are cashless. Credit and debit cards are accepted.
Guests attending events at Jack Coombs Field assume all risks associated with watching a live sporting event, including the possibility of being struck by bats, balls or other objects entering the seating or standing areas.
Protective netting is installed behind home plate. Guests seated in areas without protective netting, including lawn seating areas, should remain alert at all times to on-field activity.
Duke University and Duke Athletics are not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from objects leaving the field of play. Guests are encouraged to use caution and remain attentive throughout the event.
Duke Athletics expects all guests to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during and after the game. Guests are expected to treat other guests, student-athletes, coaches, officials and staff with courtesy and respect.
To help ensure a safe, family-friendly environment, guests are expected to refrain from the following behaviors:
Guests who observe behavior that does not meet these expectations should contact the nearest Duke Athletics staff member for assistance. Violators are subject to removal from the facility and possible arrest.

Duke Game Operations actively monitors weather conditions before and during all events at Jack Coombs Field.
Game status updates, including delays and resumption of play, will be communicated via the public address system and Duke baseball’s official social media accounts.
If an item is lost or found, please report it to the nearest Duke Athletics staff member or the game manager.
Items turned in during the event will be handled by Duke Athletics Game Operations. Items not claimed by the end of the game will be available for pickup the next business day.

Unclaimed items will be retained for 30 days following the event. After this period, any remaining items will be discarded.
Access to the press box, media areas and scorer’s table at Smith Family Stadium is restricted to approved personnel only.
Media members, photographers and videographers must contact Duke Athletics Communications at least two days prior to the event to request credentials or reserve workspace.
Media credentials must be visible at all times while inside restricted areas. Unauthorized access to media-only spaces is prohibited.
The Johnson Family Team Store is located in the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center, adjacent to Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Complimentary parking is available for Duke Baseball home games in designated campus lots. Availability may change if a baseball game coincides with another campus event.
Duke University assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Guests are encouraged to lock their vehicles.

Scouts must present a valid scout card for entry. Access is permitted beginning 60 minutes prior to first pitch.
All games at Jack Coombs Field are ticketed events. The ticket booth opens 60 minutes prior to first pitch.
Duke University is a tobacco-free campus. The use of all tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco, is prohibited.
