SCOUTING SYRACUSE
The Orange finished the fall regular season with a 4-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark in conference play. Syracuse is coming off a 2-1 upset over Louisville last Friday, handing the Cardinals their first loss of the 2020 campaign.
Duke looks forward to facing Syracuse again after its 4-3 setback earlier this season in Virginia Beach. The Blue Devils came back from a two-goal deficit, but an Orange goal in the 53rd minute proved to be the game winner.
Â
HISTORY IN THE ACC TOURNAMENT
Duke makes its 38th ACC Tournament appearance, holding an 18-37 record. The Blue Devils are 5-9 when the tournament is in Chapel Hill. Thursday's game will be the second ACC postseason game between Duke and Syracuse as the Blue Devils picked up a 4-1 victory over the Orange in the first round of the 2018 ACC Field Hockey Championships, hosted by North Carolina.
