DURHAM, N.C. – Duke field hockey is set to host Virginia in its fall regular-season finale on Saturday, Oct. 31. The game is slated for a 1 p.m. start on Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium.
Saturday's Halloween matchup between the Blue Devils (1-6, 0-4 ACC) and Cavaliers (3-5, 2-2 ACC) will be available to watch on ACC Network Extra.

HISTORY WITH THE CAVALIERS
Duke and Virginia will meet for the 58th time as the Cavaliers lead the all-time series, 37-20, and are 11-10 when playing in Durham. The last time the two teams faced off was in the ACC Quarterfinals on Nov. 7, 2019 in Newton, Mass., where Virginia pulled away with a 2-1 win. SCOUTING VIRGINIA
The Cavaliers enter the weekend with a 3-5 overall record and a 2-2 mark in ACC play with league victories over Wake Forest and Syracuse. Head coach Michele Madison is in her 15th season at Virginia and holds a 204-106 record. Offensively, Madison's squad is led by sophomore Laura Janssen with five goals and junior Amber Ezechiels with four assists. Virginia's goalkeeping tandem consists of Lauren Hausheer and Taylor Henriksen who have combined for 48 saves with a 2.18 goals against average.
ACC CHAMPIONSHIP MOVED TO NORTH CAROLINA
Following concerns from the University, the 2020 ACC Field Hockey Championship will now be hosted by North Carolina. Game action at Karen Shelton Stadium will take place on Nov. 5, 6 and 8.
