DURHAM, N.C. – After enjoying some time off for the holiday season, Duke track and field makes its return to the track Jan. 17 at the JDL Mondo College Invitational in Winston-Salem.

WHAT TO KNOW:
- Duke will be represented by 70 student-athletes at the meet – 32 men and 38 women – across 23 different events.
- Action at the JDL Fast Track starts at 9:30 a.m. Duke's track slate begins at 10 a.m. with the 60m hurdles prelims while the Blue Devil field events commence at 9:30 a.m. with the men's shot put.
- Nine different Blue Devils are ranked in the top-20 nationally across seven events: Julia Jackson (1st – 500m), Andres Langston (3rd – 500m), Braelyn Baker (7th – 300m), Beck Wittstadt (7th – 1500m; 9th – Mile), Bailey Goggans (11th – 1000m), Aden Bandukwala (15th – 1500m; 15th – Mile), Lauren Tolbert (15th – 300m), Maya Collins (18th – 60m) and Gianna Locci (T20th – Long Jump).
LAST TIME OUT:
- The Blue Devils featured a split squad to open the 2025-26 season, competing at both the Liberty Kick-Off and BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener.
- At the Liberty Kick-Off, Duke posted seven event wins, broke three school records and turned in 10 top-five program marks. Baker, Collins and Langston paced the efforts, unseating the program records in the men's and women's 300m and the women's 60m to headline a phenomenal team performance. Baker and Langston each added another top-five Duke mark to cap their strong weekends.
- Mia Edim, Jackson, Tolbert and Quinton Godfrey also etched their names into the Duke record book with impressive performances in their respective events.
- Duke turned in a formidable showing at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener as four Blue Devils posted personal bests and top-five program marks.
- Stephanie Moss headlined the action with a monster personal best en route to shattering the program record in the women's 5,000m – a mark that had stood since 2013.
- Jette Beermann, Abby Hassman and Wittstadt also impressed, with each moving into the top three on the Duke charts in their respective events.

Duke heads back to Winston-Salem for its second consecutive meet, this time for the JDL ASICS Superblast Invitational. Action is slated for Jan. 25 at the JDL Fast Track.
