BOSTON, Mass. – Duke track and field turned in another formidable showing in its season-opening weekend, with four Blue Devils posting personal bests and top-five program marks Saturday at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener.

Stephanie Moss headlined the action with a monster personal best en route to shattering the program record in the women's 5,000 meters – a mark that had stood since 2013. Classmates

Abby Hassman and
Beck Wittstadt also impressed with each moving into the top three on the Duke charts in their respective events.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Stephanie Moss earned the Blue Devils' highest placement of the day with a fourth-place finish in the women's 5000m. The graduate student from Wilmslow, England, powered through the line in 15:35.80 to post the fastest time of her collegiate career, unseating the previous record held by former standout Juliet Bottorff.
- Competing alongside Moss in the 5000m, Abby Hassman and Jette Beermann continued the record-setting performances for the Duke women. Hassman clocked 15:36.92 and moved into No. 2 on the all-time list, while Beermann's mark of 15:45.16 moved her to No. 3 in program lore.
- On the men's side, Beck Wittstadt moved up the Duke leaderboard following a strong race in the mile invite. Wittstadt trimmed over a second off his previous best and stopped the clock at 3:58.94, jumping two spots up to No. 2 all-time.
