QUOTES
- "I thought we were more tough then we were good today. We were sloppy in a couple phases and we still have some stuff to clean up on the bases. We also gave them a handful of free offense, but the cool thing was we were tough enough to overcoming it. That is what I am really proud of about our team. We showed really good toughness and competitive fight in a great atmosphere against a great team." – Head coach Chris Pollard on closing out the weekend strong against Coastal Carolina.
UP NEXT
- Duke returns home to the friendly confines of Jack Coombs Field for its home opener against Liberty. First pitch is scheduled for Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. and admission is free.
