QUOTES
- "I speak for our entire program that we are really excited to be back here at Jack Coombs Field. I thought we had a great atmosphere today and thought it was a really nice college baseball crowd for a midweek game on a cool February day. Both teams played well and it was a great college baseball game." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the first game at home this season at Jack Coombs Field.
- "I thought Noone pitched really well. We talked about it in our pregame meeting of the importance of getting them in swing mode, meaning getting the barrel moving. They had 22 walks versus Quinnipiac over the weekend. We thought for us to have success we needed to get them in swing mode and take advantage of that." – On Tim Noone's first outing in a Duke uniform.
UP NEXT
- No. 12 Duke continues its 10-game home stand, hosting Northwestern for a three-game series at Jack Coombs Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
