DURHAM – The Blue Devils improved to 5-0 in fall ball action after defeating East Carolina and Campbell in a pair of games over the weekend.
Duke opened the weekend strong with a 12-2 win over the Pirates on Friday at Duke Softball Stadium. Sophomore

The Blue Devils then hit the road on Sunday, traveling over to Buies Creek, N.C., and shutout the Fighting Camels, 14-0. The pitching staff of sophomore

Dani Drogemuller and Walker controlled the game from inside the circle, combining for 18 strikeouts over 10 innings and surrendered just three hits and one walk.
Senior
Kelly Torres was a key contributor to Duke's offense after blasting a home run over the fence and driving in two RBI with two runs scored. Sophomore
D'Auna Jennings went 3-for-5 on the day and scored three runs. Frelick and junior
Kelsey Zampa each finished 2-for-4 while collecting three and two RBI, respectively.
The Blue Devils continue the road swing Saturday afternoon as they head to Greensboro, N.C., to face UNC Greensboro. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
