The Matchup
Duke and Virginia square off for the third time this season in Sunday's NCAA quarterfinals in Charlottesville, Va. ... The sixth-ranked Blue Devils secured a spot in the quarterfinals for the third-straight year with a 1-0 overtime victory against No. 13 Stanford ... The third-seeded and fourth-ranked Cavaliers advanced with a 4-3 overtime win over Delaware ... The winner of Sunday's quarterfinal match heads to next weekend's semifinals in Ann Arbor, Mich.

All seats at Virginia's Turf Field will be general admission with adult tickets priced at $5 and Student/Youth tickets priced at $3. Tickets can be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-8821. Day-of-game sales at Turf Field will be CASH ONLY.

There will also be a $5 parking fee for those parking in the Cage Lot. Free parking will be available in the UHall, John Paul Jones Arena, and McCue lots.

Duke in the NCAA Tournament
The Blue Devils own an all-time record of 20-13 (.606) in the NCAA Tournament while making four trips to the championship match (2003, 2004, 2005, 2013) ... The program has also made five appearances in the national semifinals (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2013) and has received bids to the tournament 14 times, including four out of the last five years under head coach Pam Bustin's leadership ... Duke is 5-5 historically in quarterfinal contests ... Last year's tournament saw the Blue Devils reach the quarterfinal round.

Kristen OT Goal Sends Duke Past Cardinal
A tip-in goal by sophomore Ashley Kristen in the 84th minute lifted the Blue Devils over Stanford in Saturday's NCAA first round ... Kristen's game winner broke a scoreless tie, advancing Duke to the quarterfinals for the third consecutive season ... Redshirt senior goalkeeper Lauren Blazing recorded three saves and guided the Duke defense to its fourth shutout of the season ... Duke held a 14-6 advantage in shots for the contest.

Against Ranked Opponents
Since 2013, Duke has gone 27-20 against ranked teams ... The Blue Devils will face their ninth consecutive ranked foe Sunday in No. 4 Virginia.

In Overtime
The Duke program owns an all-time record of 40-44-7 in overtime contests after topping the Cardinal in the 84th minute Saturday ... The Blue Devils defeated No. 3 Maryland, No. 10 Liberty, No. 17 Boston University and No. 18 James Madison in extra time and dropped decisions to No. 1 Syracuse and No. 6 Stanford in overtime this season.

Scheduling the Best
The Blue Devils will face a top-15 opponent Saturday for the 17th time in 20 games, giving them the nation's strongest schedule ... The 2015 slate features 13 teams currently ranked in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I poll, including four of the top five squads in No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Syracuse, No. 4 Virginia and No. 5 Maryland ... All seven ACC squads are ranked, with six in the top 10.

Virginia Series History
The Blue Devils are 17-34 all-time against the Cavaliers and 1-1 when facing Virginia in the NCAA Tournament ... The teams have not faced off in the postseason event since 1996 ... The Cavaliers have won five of the last six meetings in the series, including a regular season matchup and ACC quarterfinal contest this fall ... In last week's ACC Tournament meeting, Duke trailed 2-0 at halftime but saw Virginia double its lead early in the second period ... Sophomore Alexa Mackintire provided the lone Duke goal on a penalty corner late in the game.

Scouting the Cavaliers
Virginia was selected to host NCAA first and second round action as the tournament's No. 3 seed ...
