Took fourth in the 200m (21.69) at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge
Finished second in the long jump with a seasonal-best mark of 7.18m (23-6.75 feet), good for fourth all-time at Duke, and also placed third in the 200m (22.26) at the Virginia Tech Invitational
Made collegiate debut at the Dick Taylor Carolina Challenge and took third place in the men's long jump with a distance of 7.02m (23-0.25 feet)
