DURHAM, N.C. – Duke softball travels to Atlanta, Georgia, this weekend to face Georgia Tech in a three-game conference series at Mewborn Field. Friday's series opener is set for 6 p.m. on ACCNX.
The Blue Devils bounced back from a series finale loss to No. 11 Virginia Tech Sunday with an explosive 17-0 win over UNC Wilmington Tuesday night. The win marked the team's largest margin of victory since defeating Michigan State, 22-0, in five innings during the 2024 Duke Invitational.

Tyrina Jones highlighted the night, accounting for seven of 17 total runs. Shadek recorded the first multi-home run game of her career after launching a solo shot in the third and a two-run blast in the fourth inning.

Mallory Wheeler and senior
Cassidy Curd combined in the circle to one-hit the Seahawks. Bradshaw earned the start while Wheeler picked up the win, each tossing 2.0 innings on the night. Curd entered in the top of the fifth to close the game out, working the final inning of relief.

Duke and Georgia Tech are set to meet for the 15th time in program history and first since 2023, when the Blue Devils defeated the Yellow Jackets, 7-1, in the ACC Championship quarterfinals. Duke leads the all-time series, 12-2, including a 6-0 record on the road.
