QUOTES
- "It was a weird pregame schedule today and I thought we lost our edge a little bit. We came out a bit flat in the first couple of innings and they took advantage of it. We were on our heels to start, and we gave up the solo home run and that is fine, but the other two runs were unforced and that ended up being the difference in the ballgame. I thought we did a great job offensively of staying in it getting to their starter and getting to the pen. We had Giroux on the ropes a couple of times and didn't take advantage of it. Gabe Nard pitched great and kept us in the ballgame and gave us chances, so we have to come out and ready to compete tomorrow." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts on Saturday.
