DURHAM, N.C. – No. 12 Duke continues its 2025 campaign, traveling to Gainesville, Fla., to compete in the Bubly Invitational. The Blue Devils are set to face Binghamton, Boston College, Providence and host Florida during the three-day invitational at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.

The Blue Devils hold a 3-2 record after the opening weekend at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla. Duke earned back-to-back shutout wins over Penn State and No. 24 Mississippi State before falling to No. 15 Missouri and No. 21 Northwestern. Cassidy Curd was recognized for her overall weekend performance by being named to the All-Tournament team. Curd was stellar in the circle, posting a 1.47 ERA in three appearances while fanning 17 in her 19.0 innings of work. Classmate
Aminah Vega powered the offense during the opening weekend, going 8-for-16 with four doubles, nine RBI and three runs scored in her five games.

BINGHAMTON
Saturday's contest with Binghamton will mark the first all-time meeting between the two programs. The Bearcats went 3-2 during their opening weekend at the Frank Griffin Classic, hosted by Stetson, with a pair of wins over Fairleigh Dickinson and UT-Chattanooga. Junior Emma Lawson was named America East Player of the Week after leading the offense batting 8-for-15 (.533) with four doubles and seven RBI.
BOSTON COLLEGE
Duke leads the all-time series against ACC foe Boston College, 10-0, after Vega blasted a two-run home run to secure the extra-innings victory in the ACC Quarterfinals last season. In the 10 all-time meetings, the Blue Devils have outscored the Eagles 55-15.
FLORIDA
Duke and Florida are set to clash for the second time in Friday's nightcap. The Gators claimed the 9-3 victory over the Blue Devils in the first meeting in Gainesville in 2022 as part of the T-Mobile Tournament. Florida enters the weekend riding an eight-game winning streak, including five run-rule victories.
PROVIDENCE
The Blue Devils and Friars are set to meet for the first time in program lore on Saturday. Providence enters with a 0-4 overall record after dropping its first four games in the season-opening weekend at the Gamecock Invitational, hosted by South Carolina, in Columbia, S.C. The Friars finished the 2024 season with a 22-23-1 overall record, including an 11-13 mark in the BIG EAST.
UP NEXT
Continuing action on the road, the Blue Devils head to Greenville, N.C., for a non-conference doubleheader with East Carolina Feb. 19. The opening game is set for 3 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.
