QUOTES
- "I thought there were some things we did really well tonight and things that we need to improve on heading into the weekend with NC State. First and foremost, the conversation starts with David Boisvert. I told our team down there; I am incredibly proud of the resilience and perseverance of him over the past few years. That's a guy that has struggled with injuries since his 11th grade year and he was hurt in his first two years in the program. To finally be healthy now and pitching as well as he is and to go from low leverage relief situations to now being a starting pitcher is a great testament to him." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts on tonight and David Boisvert's performance.
- "We talked about the fact that this team doesn't strike out a lot. They like to swing early and put the ball in play. If we were aggressive to the zone, we could get some quick outs and that is exactly what Debo did." – On the efficient outing that Boisvert had to start the game.
UP NEXT
