DURHAM – Following a historic series win over No. 1-ranked Wake Forest at David F. Couch Ballpark, No. 6 Duke shifts its focus to a six-game homestand beginning on Tuesday with two midweek matchups with Rider.

QUICK HITS
- The Blue Devils continue to pounce on opponents like they did throughout the season in 2023. Duke has recorded 90 of its 150 runs so far this season from the fourth to the eighth inning. That number accounts for 60% of the Blue Devils' run production.
- Duke baseball defeated No. 1 Wake Forest on Sunday to clinch the series from the Demon Deacons and earn their first series win over a No. 1-ranked team since defeating North Carolina in 2009. The Blue Devils' series win also snapped an 11-series streak of ACC wins for Wake Forest.
- Graduate Charlie Beilenson will pitch every day if he has to for the Blue Devils. A year removed from setting the program record in appearances with 39, Beilenson has appeared in seven games so far this season, tallying a save in each of those contests. He posts a 0.00 ERA in 14 innings of work, striking out 22 batters. Opponents are hitting .143 off the righty. On Friday, Beilenson worked three innings to give Duke its first win over a No. 1-ranked opponent since 2016 when Duke defeated Miami. He then slammed the door on the Demon Deacons in the ninth on Sunday to clinch the first series win over a No. 1-ranked opponent since 2009.
- Graduate transfer Zac Morris took over the longest active hitting streak this weekend, pushing his mark to double digits. Morris has collected a knock in 10 consecutive games and has registered four multi-hit contests. He leads the team with five multi-RBI games and has tallied one four-RBI day.
- Head coach Chris Pollard is now four wins away from moving into a tie with former Duke head coach Steve Traylor, for second on the all-time wins list. Pollard collected his 350th win in a Blue Devils' uniform on Tuesday against Appalachian State at Jack Coombs Field.
- The Blue Devils improved to 13-0, 13-0 and 12-0 respectively when leading after the sixth, seventh and eighth innings. Duke also is 5-0 when scoring 10-plus runs in a game this season.
- Since 2016, Duke has posted a 182-58 (.758) record when scoring first and a 194-40 (.829) record when scoring three or more runs in an inning.
