DURHAM – The Duke wrestling team (4-7) will host Chattanooga (5-2) on Friday Jan. 19, for its second home match and the first in Cameron Indoor Stadium for the 2024 season. First bout is slated for 6 p.m.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE SERIES
• Duke and Chattanooga will face each other for the fifth time in school history on Friday. It will mark the first meeting since 2005. The series dates back to 2002 with the Mocs leading 2-2.
• The last time Duke defeated Chattanooga was in its first meeting on Jan. 13, 2002, with a 23-16 victory.
• The Blue Devils won the first two matchups of the series in 2002 and 2003, but Chattanooga has won the last two meetings (2004 & 2005).
• This will be the first matchup in each respective programs' history played at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C. The past four matches have been played at neutral sites.
NOTEABLES
• Duke will look to rebound in its contest with Chattanooga, after falling to Gardner-Webb on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
• This will be the final non-conference match for Duke this season. The Blue Devils will begin their conference portion of the schedule by hosting Virginia on Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

• A native of West Lafayette, Ind.,
Connor Barket claimed his third pinfall of the season in the second period against Gardner-Webb's Peyton McComas in the 285 bout.
• Barket collected his team-best 12th win of 2023-24 and second against McComas.
• Over the past four dual matches,
Gaetano Console has totaled three victories against Gardner-Webb, Queens and The Citadel. He now owns a 9-8 record on the season.
• Junior
Logan Ferrero has won three out of his last five dual matches to improve 7-9 on the year. After totaling five wins his first two seasons at Duke, he owns a career best seven victories in 2023-24.
