2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman): One of three captains ... earned All-ACC Academic Team honors ... competed at 165 and 174 pounds … posted nine wins on the season … competed in the ACC Championship at 174 pounds … went 4-2 at the Keystone Classic taking down Kaya Sement of Penn by decision, 5-2 … adding three pins in a row over Appalachian State’s Oren Bost, Harvard’s Evan Gleason and Virginia Tech’s Clayton Urley, respectively … also defeated Gardner Webb’s Andrew Wilson with a convincing 8-2 decision win … registered his first pin and ranked win of the season against No. 17 Peyton Hall of West Virginia in the first period (2:19) … wrestled in one sudden victory period this season, registering a 2-1 decision win against Ben Haubert of The Citadel … held Vladimir Sukhikh of Queens scoreless earning a 6-0 decision victory at a tri-meet with Queens and The Citadel in Charlotte.
2022-23 (Freshman): Saw action in eight dual matches during his rookie season, primarily at 165 pounds … posted a 5-6 record overall … made his collegiate wrestling debut at the Maryland Duals, finishing 2-1 on the day with wins over Ryan Zimmerman (American) and Trenton Harder (Bloomsburg) … registered two falls in his first season, pinning RJ Moore of VMI in 1:17 and Presbyterian’s Tyler Chittum in 4:03 … competed in the 165-pound bracket of the Southern Scuffle and went 1-2 on the weekend … wrestled up at 174 pounds in the North Carolina dual.Â
