QUOTES
- "I think we are going to look back at the trackman files and see that tonight was one of our best nights of the year of hitting the ball right on the screws. We had eight that I know of that were hit right on the screws that were outs and they had three two-out home runs. Even with all the loud contact that didn't fall in, we were three pitches away from winning the ballgame 5-2. I thought we did a lot of good things defensively and pitched pretty well." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the loud contact that didn't fall for the Blue Devils Friday.
- "We had a runner at third in the first with less than two outs and we need to push that runner across. All those little things matter in the end." – On not capitalizing on runners in scoring position Friday.
