QUOTES
- "I loved the bounce back at bats by Gio today. When he came over after the called strike three in the first, I kind of gave him an earful. I loved his response and showed his maturity in this game. He came out and had some great at bats today and even the out in the eighth was a great approach. Tyler Albright continues to do a great job at the bottom of the lineup for us as well. We talk about it all the time, there are no meaningless runs. You keep every run, off the board that you can, and you score as many as you can. That RBI by Tyler in the eighth was a big run today." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the job the bottom of the order did today.
- "Just awesome all around. Charlie Beilenson just continues to go out there and do whatever we ask of him. You want to talk about someone who is the MVP of the season, he is willing to go out there on back-to-back days or three in a row and throw. Fran looked great and if we didn't get that short rain delay, we put him back out there." – On the ability of the bullpen to hold off Georgia Tech today.
