Duke Softball Hosts Strike Out Cancer Weekend

DURHAM- Duke softball will host a Strike Out Cancer weekend during the three-game series against Notre Dame on March 3-5 at Duke Softball Stadium.

Throughout the weekend, Duke softball will celebrate the life of Greg Dale, a beloved member of the Duke softball support staff, who passed away in November 2022 after battling gastric cancer.

The Blue Devils will be raising awareness and funds to support the Duke Cancer Institute and Duke Children's Hospital. All donations made will go to supporting families, patients, and research.

Each game in the series is dedicated to fighting and raising awareness for a different type of cancer.

Friday, March 3 – Leukemia awareness
Saturday, March 4 – Pediatric Cancer & Team IMPACT Recognition
Sunday, March 5 – Breast Cancer awareness
