DURHAM - Twelve members of the Duke wrestling team will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn., for the 2024 Southern Scuffle, presented by Compound Sportswear on Jan. 1-2. Twenty teams are set to compete in the two-day event. Matches begin at 10 a.m.

•   Duke returns to the mat after splitting a pair of road matches in Charlotte, N.C., on Dec. 19. The Blue Devils fell to The Citadel, 26-9, before rebounding with a 47-0 decision over host Queens.

Connor Barket led the way with 2-0 performances on the day.

Kwasi Bonsu captured his first collegiate win during the tri-meet, after registering a 16-4 major decision over Riley Kuhn of Queens.

Jarred Papcsy recorded the second fastest fall of his Blue Devil career, pinning Queens' Suhaib Hatamleh just 41 seconds into the 149-pound bout.
