Setting the Scene...
The Duke women's basketball team (16-10, 10-5 ACC) will travel down the road to Raleigh, N.C., Monday, Feb. 24 as the Blue Devils take on 10th-ranked NC State (23-3, 12-3) in Reynolds Coliseum. The game will tip at 7 p.m.
The game will be aired live on the ESPN2 with Beth Mowins (PXP) and Debbie Antonelli (Color) calling the action. It will also be carried on the Duke Sports Network via WDNC AM 620, TuneIn app and www.GoDuke.com with Chris Edwards (PXP) on the air beginning at 6:45 p.m. (ET).
What is Next?...
Duke will close the regular season with two straight road games at Virginia Tech (Feb. 27) and at North Carolina (March 1). The Blue Devils will face the Hokies at 7 p.m., in Blacksburg, Va.

1) Over the last three games,
Leaonna Odom has averaged 18.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. She had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds in her last contest.

Strength of Schedule...
The Blue Devils feature the 12th-toughest schedule nationally -- Oklahoma (1), Oregon (2), Virginia (3), Ohio State (4), Oregon State (5), Auburn (6), Missouri (7), Oklahoma State (8), Maryland (9), South Carolina (10), Washington State (11) and Duke (12) round out the top 12.
Duke's five non-conference losses in 2019-20 came against teams that have collected a combined 112-22 record.
The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 32 in the latest RPI.
Storylines/Other Blue Devil Notes...

Leaonna Odom has notched double-figure scoring in 10 straight contests, while averaging 16.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.1 assists. She has hit 57.8 percent from the field during those games.

Mikayla Boykin has averaged 5.5 assists over her last four games.

Haley Gorecki currently ranks first in the ACC with 146 made free throws and second with 170 attempts, while ranking third with an 85.9 free throw percentage. Her 146 free throws made ranks fifth nationally.

Onome Akinbode-James has averaged 6.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 assists.
• Duke has won nine out of the last 11 and seven out of the last eight contests.

Haley Gorecki averaged 36.1 minutes a contest last season and is averaging 36.1 minutes in 2019-20. She would become the first Blue Devil to average 35.0 minutes or more in back-to-back seasons.
• Duke trailed, 40-33, heading into the fourth quarter against Notre Dame and rallied for a 50-47 victory. It was the Blue Devils' largest comeback in the fourth quarter since the NCAA moved to the quarter system in 2015-16.
• For the sixth time this season, Duke had five players hit at least one three-pointer at Miami. Duke had not featured five different players hitting a trey since the 2014-15 campaign when it did it twice.

Leaonna Odom ranks third in the ACC in field goal percentage, at 54.7 percent per game.

The Series with NC State...
Duke and NC State will meet for the 81st time in school history with the Wolfpack leading the series 44-36. NCSU has won six out of the last seven meetings, including three in a row.
In games played in Raleigh, N.C., Duke owns a 13-22 mark, including three straight losses.
Coach P has totaled a 9-9 record against NC State.
Last Meeting...
Duke held strong against No. 7 NC State Feb. 2 in Cameron Indoor Stadium, but a strong fourth quarter rally propelled the Wolfpack to a 63-60 league victory.

Haley Gorecki scored 20 or more points for the seventh time this season and the 18th time over the last two seasons as she notched a team-high 21 points. She added seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one blocked shot. Senior

The Blue Devil defense limited the Wolfpack to a season low first half points (23) and their 15 turnovers matched a season high for the first 20 minutes.
Heading into the final 10 minutes, Duke featured a 45-43 lead. With 2:36 remaining, Odom drained a jumper to give Duke a 54-52 advantage, but Grace Hunter of NC State connected on a three-pointer on the next possession to put the Wolfpack back ahead, 55-54. NC State added a free throw and held a 56-54 lead. Hunter added another trey with 35 seconds remaining and the Blue Devils dropped their 13th straight game against a ranked opponent.
NC State was led by Elissa Cunane with 27 points. After the Wolfpack was held to 23 first half points, NC State scored 40 second half points.
Boykin in Reynolds Coliseum...
Mikayla Boykin has fond memories of Reynolds Coliseum as she helped lead her Clinton High School team to the 2-A State Championship on March 11, 2017 with a 59-49 victory over North Surry.
Boykin collected a game-high 31 points to help pace Clinton to the victory. She finished the season with an NCHSAA record 1,159 points, surpassing the old mark of 1,135 set by Terry Sanford's Shea Ralph, then a junior, during the 1994-95 season.
Last year at NC State, Boykin hit three treys on her way to notching 13 points and grabbing four steals in 37 minutes against the Wolfpack.
Blue Devils Against the Wolfpack...
In three games against NC State,
Haley Gorecki has averaged 17.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals. She had 21 points and seven boards in the last meeting.
Kyra Lambert has registered two double-digit scoring games out of three contests against the Wolfpack. She has averaged 11.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals.
Nearing 1,300 Points...
Haley Gorecki is only one point shy of reaching 1,300 points for her career. If she reaches this mark soon, Gorecki will become the eighth-quickest Blue Devil to notch 1,300 points. She enters Monday seeing action in 93 career games.

Haley Gorecki was named one of 10 finalists for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award recognizing the top shooting guards nationally.
Gorecki was also named one of 30 midseason candidates for the Citizen Naismith Trophy for Women's Player of the Year.
Boykin Big Last Four Games...
Mikayla Boykin has averaged 9.8 points, 5.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals over her last four games. During that stretch, she has hit 16-of-30 field goals (53.3%) and 6-of-13 treys (46.2%).
At Miami, Boykin had eight points and five assists in 10 first half minutes and then went on to match a career high with 15 points, have six assists and four rebounds.
Boykin came off the bench to play a season-high 31 minutes against North Carolina, while collecting 11 points, a season-high six rebounds, a season-high five assists and one steal to help lead Duke to the victory.
She had been limited to under 20 minutes in January but her minute restriction was lifted in February.
Boykin has scored double-digits six times this season in 13 games.
