DURHAM, N.C. – Senior Margaux Paolino was selected to represent the United States in Bhubaneswar, India, in the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier against Team India November 1- 2.
Women's U.S. Field Hockey Head Coach Janneke Schopman announced the traveling roster Wednesday afternoon, choosing the Duke striker who also represented the red, white and blue at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, in September. The U.S. claimed a bronze medal at the Pan Am Games.
The bronze medal for Paolino added to her impressive U.S. Field Hockey résumé, as she also earned silver with the U.S. U21 team at the 2016 Junior Pan American Games. The Villanova, Pa., native started throughout the 2019 Pan American Games and has logged 21 caps throughout her time with the U.S.
No. 13 USA and No. 9 India begin competition Friday, Nov. 1 at 8:30 a.m. (ET) and will conclude Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 a.m. (ET) All FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers will be live streamed on fih.live and Bleacher Report Live in the United States.
