The Opening Draw
No. 14 Duke women's lacrosse opens its home slate Sunday, Feb. 15, hosting No. 8 Johns Hopkins at 3 p.m., on ACCNX.
The Blue Devils lead the all-time series versus the Blue Jays, 8-3, and own a 7-3 advantage in the last 10 matchups. A season ago, the two teams met, with Johns Hopkins coming out on top in overtime, 12-11.
Duke opened ACC play with a 17-10 loss at Pittsburgh. Offensively, sophomore Avery Doran led the Blue Devils with a career-high five goals, while junior Bella Goodwin posted four points on two goals and two assists. Redshirt junior Ava Biancardi tallied a personal-best three ground balls to lead Duke, while senior Sydney Smith recorded a team-high two caused turnovers.

The Blue Devils finished the 2025 campaign ranked No. 9 in the IWLCA poll. The Blue Jays also received votes from Inside Lacrosse.
Duke Versus Johns Hopkins
