QUICK HITS
- Graduate Ben Miller collected his second multi-home run game on Friday evening in Chapel Hill, pushing his season tally to 15 home runs. It ties his career-high which he set last season in Durham, and he now leads the ACC in that category.
- Duke continues scoring throughout the middle innings of games this season, scoring 106 of its 262 (40.5%) runs from the fourth to sixth frame.
- The 2025 Blue Devils are steadier at the plate, drawing 227 walks through 33 games. That mark is second in the country trailing only VMI (250). The 227 free passes are the most in the ACC ahead of Clemson (221).
- Two-out lightning has returned for the Blue Devils as Duke has produced 84 two-out RBI. The 84 runs account for 32.1% of the Blue Devils' run production, as Ben Miller and AJ Gracia lead the team with 13 two-out RBI, while Jake Hyde (12) and Jake Berger (11) are just behind.
- Duke's bullpen continues to strengthen down the stretch, led this past weekend by graduate Reid Easterly. Easterly recorded six innings on the mound in Chapel Hill, allowing one walk and four strikeouts. He allowed two unearned runs and was part of a staff that recorded a 0.52 ERA over the final 17.1 innings of play.
