WALLACE EARNS ACC CO-WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
• Coming off the highest-ranked win of his short collegiate career, Duke's
Aidan Wallace was tabbed the ACC Co-Wrestler of the Week.
• Wallace went up against 23rd-ranked Mac Church of Virginia Tech live on ACC Network on Jan. 24. After a scoreless first period, Church received two stalling warnings to give Wallace a 1-0 lead. Church was able to even the match, 1-1, with an escape with 29 seconds remaining in regulation. Wallace earned a takedown with 1:18 on the clock in the first overtime to collect the thrilling victory. Wallace's win was his first ACC win of his collegiate career.

Kwasi Bonsu all netted victories on Jan. 24 inside Cameron Indoor Stadium against 11th-ranked Virginia Tech in front of a national audience on ACC Network.
• As a team, the Blue Devils dropped a 32-15 decision to fall to 4-11 overall and 0-3 in the ACC, while the Hokies improved to 5-2, 1-1.
• Sophomore
SP O'Donnell got things started for the Blue Devils at 149 pounds against Chris Bacchioni. Baachioni registered a takedown in the first period, but O'Donnell collected a reversal and trailed, 3-2, heading into the second. After a nearfall by Baachioni, O'Donnell picked up a reversal and pinned the Hokie with 3:43 remaining to net the victory.
• In the next bout, senior
Logan Ferrero posted a 6-0 decision over Luke Robie at 157 pounds. After a scoreless first period, Ferrero netted a reversal in the second to take a 2-0 advantage. He then posted a takedown and earned a riding time point in the third to notch his fifth win on the season.
• In one of the featured matches of the night between two ranked wrestlers at 165 pounds, Duke's 29th-ranked

Kwasi Bonsu also registered the first ACC win of his career as he posted a 10-3 decision against Glean Gonzalez at 197 pounds. Bonsu, a native of Baldwin, N.Y., had a solid start to the bout with a pair of takedowns in the first period, while adding another in the third to secure the win.

BARKET & WALLACE LISTED IN NCAA COACHES' RANKING
• The NCAA has announced the first coaches' ranking for the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship with Duke's
Connor Barket and
Aidan Wallace listed at 285 and 165 pounds, respectively.
• The rankings list the top 33 wrestlers at each weight with Barket coming in at No. 24 and Wallace at No. 26 nationally.
• The coaches' rankings are determined by a vote of 16 coaches in each weight class with two head coaches from each of the eight conferences. For ranking purposes, coaches may only consider a wrestler that has been designated as a starter at a respective weight class. Wrestlers must have eight Division I matches in the weight class to be considered with at least one within the last 30 days.
• The coaches' ranking is one of several criteria that will be evaluated by the NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee during the at-large selection and seeding process along with head-to-head competition, quality wins, Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), conference tournament placement, results versus common opponents and win percentage.
• The 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship take place March 20-22 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia as the event returns for the first time since 2011.

NOTING THE BLUE DEVILS
• With
Connor Barket's win versus Gardner-Webb, Duke now features two 20-win wrestlers as
Aidan Wallace owns 21 victories. The last time the Blue Devils featured two 20-win wrestlers was in 2021-22 with Matt (29) and Josh (28) Finesilver.Â
• Senior
Logan Ferrero collected his fourth victory of the season and his first fall with the win against Gardner-Webb's Dominic DiTullo with 1:39 remaining in the second period. It was his seventh career dual match victory.
• Redshirt sophomore
Connor Barket featured a 13-match winning streak, which ended during the Southern Scuffle. It marked the longest streak of his short collegiate career. The streak was the longest since the 2022-23 season when Jonah Niesenbaum totaled a 15-match streak. Barket owns a 22-6 overall record and totaled a single-season best 12th dual match win against Appalachian State.Â
• Against VMI, freshman
Riley Rowan picked up his first collegiate victory as he totaled a 10-4 decision against Cody Tanner. Rowan comes from a family of wrestlers as his father, David, wrestled at Edinboro and his brother, Kyle, wrestled at Stanford. Â
• After dealing with a knee injury for the first month, redshirt sophomore
Gaetano Console picked up his first dual match win of the season with a 14-4 major decision victory against Marc Koch of Davidson. Console then posted a 10-6 decision against Andrew Wilson of Gardner-Webb. He now owns 12 dual match wins over his career.
• Freshman
Vincent Lee featured a solid start to his collegiate career by totaling 10 wins at 197. He has won six out of his last eight contests. After opening with a 10-7 ledger, Lee has not wrestled since Dec. 7 due to an injury.Â
• In the Southern Scuffle to open 2025,
Aidan Wallace placed second, while
Connor Barket placed seventh. With his seventh-place finish, Barket now owns back-to-back podium placements at the event as he placed seventh in 2024.Â
• As a team, Duke totaled a 3.647 grade-point average in the fall of 2024, while
