DURHAM – No. 23 Duke women's lacrosse hits the road for its final true roadtrip of the regular season as it travels to No. 6 Notre Dame. Opening draw Saturday is set for 1 p.m., on ACCNX.
Scouting the Irish
- The Irish come into Saturday's game 10-2 overall and 4-2 in ACC action as the sixth-ranked team in the nation. They have won six of their last seven games. Saturday's contest against No. 23 Duke will be Notre Dame's sixth ranked game this spring and the Irish is 4-1 in those games.
- Notre Dame is led by the big three -- Jackie Wolak with 39 goals and 22 assists for 61 points, followed by Madison Ahern (33g, 11a) and Kasey Choma (29g, 15a). Defender Olivia Dooley leads the charge with 17 caused turnovers and 14 ground balls while midfielder Kelly Denes owns 80 draw controls.
- Goalie Lilly Callahan boasts a 9.34 GAA and a .429 save percentage between the pipes.
Series History
- Duke and Notre Dame meet for the 26th time in program history as the Blue Devils hold a narrow 13-12 lead in the all-time series.
- Duke is 6-5 in contests in South Bend as Notre Dame has won nine of the last 11 games.
