Quotes
- "I thought it was a good weekend for us.Coming off of the trip to Florida where we didn't do things how we wanted to. Nevermind the results, but some other stuff too -- emotionally and mentally. And I thought that this weekend, we were able to regroup and become a better team. You know, and that's what I told them that every time we play, it's an opportunity to show that we can keep getting better. Regardless of the opponent, regardless of what's going on, it's an opportunity to play the ball, not play the team across the net, and just keep trying to get better. I thought we did that this weekend."-Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
- "I think the level of energy that we had. That was something we talked about this week in practice and made them do it in practice -- the "Come ons" and "Let's go's." That kind of stuff. I told them if we can't be verbal in practice, there's no way you're going to do it in a match. It's just like shots that you select on the court. If you can't do it in practice, you shouldn't be trying it in matches. We just have to practice that way, practice being emotional and practice with a high level of energy. And then it's easy to carry that into the match days."- Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth on the difference from last weekend and this weekend
