QUOTES
- "I told our guys on Sunday that I was really starting to believe that we are rounding into the best version of ourselves. I think we may have played our most complete game of the season tonight. That team is a top-20 offense in the country, and they came into tonight with opponents having given them just shy of 200 free bases from the mound. We allowed one free base tonight, and it was a really impressive performance by our pitching staff." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts about the game tonight.
- "What Boisvert is doing is really electric. He is featuring a 94-95 mph fastball that has heavy run and sink on it. The swings and misses he was getting on his fastball tonight were below the barrel and hands. That just goes to show you how good the fastball was, and David is doing some really good things. He was able to feature the slider more and is growing into a guy to be reckoned with throwing the midweek." – On the job David Boisvert has done taking over the midweek starting job.
UP NEXT
