QUOTES
- "I really liked our response today. Credit to Rider, they really came out and were ready to play today. They threw a big punch against us in the first inning. Emus didn't do anything wrong; they just took great swings. I liked our ability to answer back in the bottom of the first and there was a different energy in our dugout to answer back in a big way. I thought our at bats in the first were really good, starting with Morris to begin the ballgame. What I appreciated the rest of the game was we didn't let them up off the mat." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the response by the Blue Devils offense in the bottom of the first.
- "Emus got stronger as he went back out to the mound. He found the changeup and executed it really well over the last two innings he pitched. Boisvert gave us two clean innings, along with an inning by Allen, two more by Conte and the way Edward Hart bounced back after last night." – On the pitching staff shutting down the Rider offense the back half of the ballgame.
UP NEXT
