DURHAM – The Duke wrestling team (4-10, 0-2 ACC) will travel to Blacksburg, Va., for its first road ACC match of the season on Friday, Feb. 9 against No.13 Virginia Tech (6-3, 2-0 ACC). The match will be contested inside the Moss Arts Center. With the first bout slated for 7 p.m., on ACC Network.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE SERIES
• Duke and Virginia Tech will face each other for the 48th time with the Hokies holding a 34-13 advantage in the series.

• This will be Virginia Tech's 23rd time hosting Duke on Friday. The Hokies lead the series, 18-6, in matches played at Blacksburg, Va.

NOTEABLES
• With his win against Pitt on Feb. 2, Connor Barket has become the first sophomore to register at least 14 wins in a season since Matt Finesilver (25) and Kaden Russell (17) in the 2018-19 season.

• This past Friday, Barket earned his first ACC win of his career over Pitt's Geoff Magin in a decision 7-2.

• Senior Logan Agin recorded his fastest fall of the season, after just 52 seconds into the 125-pound bout. Marking his second career ACC victory. He now owns 10 wins on the season, which equals a career best.

• This makes Agin the first Duke senior to reach double-figure (12) falls in a career since Josh Finesilver (14), Kaden Russell (13) and Matt Finesilver (10) in the 2021-22 season.

• Barket (14), Agin (10) and sophomore Gaetano Console (9) lead the team in victories.

• After missing two matches with an injury, senior Jack Wimmer returned to action against Pitt this past week.
