SETTING THE SCENE
• Organized by Journeymen Wrestling, the Duke wrestling team will open dual match action this weekend as the Blue Devils travel to Bethlehem, Pa., for WrangleMania, which will take place at Liberty High School.
• Duke will face off against LIU Brooklyn and No. 15 Rutgers University in the 14-school event, featuring NC State, Arizona State, Illinois, Rutgers, Campbell, Duke, Franklin & Marshall, Buffalo, Sacred Heart, California Baptist, Sacred Heart, Virginia Military Institute, Long Island, Binghamton.Â
• The Blue Devils take on LIU Brooklyn Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m., followed by a 2 p.m., contest with No. 15 Rutgers.Â
• Duke will then move to Freedom High School on Sunday, Nov. 10 for the Journeymen Collegiate Classic where the Blue Devils will compete individually.

THE SERIES
• Against Rutgers, Duke owns an all-time ledger of 0-2. In their most recent meeting on Nov. 3, 2023, the Blue Devils fell to the Scarlet Knights in a neutral-site dual in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and by a score of 47-0.
• Saturday's meeting will mark Duke wrestling's first contest all-time against LIU Brooklyn.
