QUOTES
- "First off, tip of the hat to Rider. I am so impressed the job that Barry Davis has done with that done. I told him if I would have known you would have been this good, I wouldn't have scheduled you. He has built a really good team and they play with confidence. They are going to be a nightmare for someone in a regional. I liked our team's ability to stay in the fight. We come back after a tough game last night offensively and scratched across a run early but let them off the hook when we left the bases loaded. I thought it was a terrific job by our guys to have an answer in the seventh." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the toughness of Rider and the ability to get the big hit tonight.
- "I thought Weaver was electric at the beginning of the game and I thought James Tallon was electric at the end of the game. I was really proud of Romano tonight. It was his first career win, and I can't think of anyone more deserving of that accomplishment right now. What a selfless teammate and all he has done all year is be put in tough spots and continues to produce. He goes out and gets that win and it's an earned win for sure." – On the job the entire pitching staff did tonight.
