- The Blue Devils feature 59 athletes across 35 events set to take part in this weekend's meet
- In addition to Duke, the Wake Forest Invitational meet field includes App State, Boston University, Campbell, Catawba, Charleston Southern, Charlotte, Colgate, Columbia, Elon, Florida State, Furman, Harvard, High Point, Lynchburg, NC State, North Carolina, Northeastern, Notre Dame, Princeton, Syracuse, Tennessee, UNC Greensboro, Wake Forest and William & Mary
- Sophomore Megan McGinnis was crowned ACC Women's Track Performer of the Week following several standout performances at the Mt. SAC Relays this past weekend.
- McGinnis headlined the Friday performances as she posted a pair of event wins in the collegiate sections of the women's 200m and 400m dash, respectively. She opened her day in the 400m and put on a stellar display of running, clocking a personal best of 52.06 seconds to finish atop the 59-member field. Her time checked in at No. 7 nationally at the time of the race and currently ranks 21st in the NCAA, while also slotting herself No. 2 all-time in program lore.
- Later in the day, she grabbed her second first-place finish in the 200m behind a dash of 23.16 seconds. On Saturday, McGinnis helped the women's 4x400m relay turn in a time of 3:29.19 – currently No. 6 nationally – which slotted them No. 2 all-time in program lore.
- In the latest USTFCCCA #EventSquad rankings, the Duke women are ranked in the top five of three events – javelin (third), 100m hurdles (fifth) and 400m (fifth), while the Blue Devil men check in at No. 10 in the javelin rankings.

- Duke hit the West Coast for a split-meet weekend in the Golden State as several individuals competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 13-15) in Azusa, Calif., while others took part in the Mt. SAC Relays (April 13-15) in Walnut, Calif. The Blue Devils' throws unit also competed in the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate meet at Long Beach State on Thursday.
- Thursday's competition slate was highlighted by a pair of top five program marks in the women's hammer throw at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate as Moorea Mitchell and Jordyn Shubrick each registered personal bests and updated the program record books.
- Mitchell's third attempt was her best throw of the afternoon, improving her No. 2 program mark in the event by launching the hammer 59.60m (195-6 feet) – almost a two meter personal best.
- Shubrick moved up one spot to No. 4 all-time in program lore via her toss of 57.23m (187-9 feet) on her second throw.
- On Friday, the Blue Devils registered five top-five program marks along with a quartet of event wins across the two meets.

- Julia Jackson, also competing in the women's 400m, delivered a standout performance en route to etching her name into the program record books. Jackson ran the fourth-fastest outdoor 400m time in Duke history, finishing her race in 52.73 seconds for a new personal best.
- Chinenye Agina joined in on the record-breaking action as she turned in the best performance of her career in women's high jump.
- Agina took on four different heights during the competition, clearing the first one on the initial try and each of the ensuing three heights on her second attempt. Agina bowed out with a final clearance of 1.78m (5-10 feet) – the best of the field – while also tying her No. 3 all-time program mark.
- Luke Jackson posted the fourth top-five program mark of the day for the Blue Devils – this one coming in the men's javelin elite.
- Jackson turned in a career-best performance and catapulted himself up to the No. 3 spot on the Duke charts with a throw of 71.58m (234-10 feet) on his opening attempt, besting his previous best by more than a meter.
- Haley Rizek closed out an incredible weekend performance in the women's heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Invite with a fourth-place finish after totaling a personal best 5,612 points – No. 4 all-time in program lore and a 300-point improvement from her previous best.
- On Saturday, the Blue Devils shattered one school record and set six additional top-five program marks across the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays.
- Jide Akinjisola continued his strong season in the men's hammer throw and turned in a personal-best showing en route to unseating the school record, coming through on his second try with a throw of 61.30m (201-1 feet) to slot himself atop the program charts while improving upon his previous best by nearly two meters.
- Shubrick kickstarted the Saturday slate with a career-best performance and the second-farthest toss in Duke history in the women's hammer throw of 60.81m (199-6 feet) – a three-meter personal best while jumping up two spots to No. 2 all-time.
- The Duke quartet of Jackson, Halle Bieber, Abby Geiser and Chyler Turner posted the fifth-fastest 4x100m time in Duke history as they clocked 44.55 seconds, good for ninth among a loaded field.
- Bieber added a pair of personal-best performances in the women's 100m Invitational and 200m Invitational while making revisions of her own to the program records in both events.
- In the 100m, Bieber dashed in 11.46 seconds – lowering her No. 2 time in program lore. The 200m saw the senior jump up two spots to No. 3 all-time via a time of 23.22 seconds.
- Duke's 4x400m relay squad of Jackson, Lauren Tolbert, Madison Mulder and McGinnis turned in a time of 3:29.19 – No. 7 nationally – which slotted them No. 2 all-time in program lore.
- Amina Maatoug and Karly Forker represented the Blue Devils in the women's 1500m Invitational. Maatoug clocked 4:13.26, the second-fastest time in Duke history, while Forker's time of 4:17.40 ranks sixth all-time in program lore.
