CLEMSON, S.C. – Duke track and field capped the indoor regular season with a bang, turning in a number of record-breaking performances during its multi-meet weekend.

The impressive weekend showing was headlined by five program records. The Blue Devils tallied four program marks – 60 meters, 400 meters and men's and women's 4x400m – at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational and one (800 meters) at the BU Valentine Invitational.

Overall, the Blue Devils turned in 14 top-five program marks with numerous Duke student-athletes notching personal bests.

TOP PERFORMANCES – TIGER PAW INVITATIONAL:
- Sophomore Phillips Moore opened the weekend with a personal best and runner-up finish in the men's weight throw. Moore came through in the clutch on his sixth and final attempt, launching the weight 19.77m (64-10.50 feet). The throw moved Moore into No. 5 all-time on the Duke charts.
- Sophomore Maya Collins and junior Mia Edim had strong performances in the prelims of the women's 60-meter dash with each earning automatic bids to the semifinal round.
- Collins clocked a then personal best of 7.31 seconds and improved her own school record while Edim lowered her No. 2 all-time Duke mark behind a then collegiate best of 7.36 seconds.
- In the semifinals, Collins and Edim one upped their respective first-round performances. Collins trimmed her school-record time down even more with a PR of 7.29 seconds, with Edim lowering her No. 2 program mark to a personal-best 7.34 seconds.
- Sophomore Braelyn Baker and senior Julia Jackson were stellar in the women's 400m as both individuals posted career-best times en route to unseating the three-year-old program record. Baker hit the tape in 52.16 seconds to claim the top spot on the Duke 400m chart, while Jackson (52.40 seconds) moved up to No. 2 all-time.
- On the men's side, graduate student Quinton Godfrey and sophomore Andres Langston also impressed in their respective 400m races. Langston posted a collegiate best of 46.30 seconds and moved up two spots into No. 2 in Blue Devil history, and Godfrey slotted himself No. 5 all-time at Duke with a PR of 47.59 seconds.
- The Duke field events got the record-breaking action started once again, as Christian Toro opened the Saturday slate with a personal best to move up to No. 2 all-time on the program charts in the men's weight throw.
- Toro's best throw came on his sixth attempt, with the junior recording a mark of 21.66m (71-0.75 feet) – nearly a three-foot improvement – to place third overall.
- Freshman Karl Pohlak commanded the men's pole vault and turned in a career best to pick up his second collegiate victory. After skipping the first three heights, Pohlak cleared the next three bars at 4.80m, 4.95m and 5.05m, respectively – the final two on the first attempt.
- The rookie passed on the next height of 5.10m before notching the deciding clearance of 5.15m (18-10.75 feet) to lock up the first-place finish.
- Collins turned in a solid effort in her 200-meter race and lowered her No. 2 all-time Duke mark, stopping the clock at 23.42 seconds.
- TJ Rowan impressed in the men's pole vault invite and improved his second-highest jump in school lore. Rowan passed on the opening two bars, then cleared the next two set at 5.05m and 5.20m. The sophomore's final mark measured 5.35m (17-8.50 feet) – good for second place.
- Duke's women's 4x400m relay of Jackson, Baker, Collins and senior Lauren Tolbert capped the Tiger Paw Invitational with a bang, delivering an incredible performance en route to smashing both the ACC and Duke marks.
- The unit clocked a season-best time of 3:30.35 to place third overall, unseating the ACC record set by Florida State in 2025. The Blue Devils' time also shaved over a second off their own previous school record set just a week ago.
- Duke's men's relay of Godfrey, Langston and graduate students Michael Bennett and Max Forte also set the school record in the event, slotting themselves atop the Duke charts with a season-best time of 3:09.37.

TOP PERFORMANCES – BU VALENTINE INVITATIONAL/JDL ASICS SOUND INVITE:
- Graduate student Beck Wittstadt brought the record-breaking party to Beantown. Wittstadt finished his 800m race with a personal best of 1:48.13 to slot himself atop the Duke charts, dismantling the previous seven-year-old mark.
- Over in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, junior Lindsay Hausman had a solid outing in her first race of the season. Hausman shaved over five seconds off her previous 3,000-meter time and logged a personal best of 10:08.29, finishing as the runner-up.
- Graduate students Jette Beermann and Stephanie Moss ran their way into the record books after both turned in strong performances in the women's 3,000-meter race at the BU Valentine Invitational Saturday evening. Beerman clocked 9:11.53 to slot herself No. 4 on the Duke charts, while Moss's time of 9:12.84 ranks fifth all-time in program history.

The Blue Devils turn their attention to the postseason, starting with the ACC Indoor Championships. The three-day conference meet is slated for Feb. 26-28 at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts.
