- The Blue Devils have won the first three series of the season in 2023, marking the first time since 2019 that a Duke team has accomplished that feat. The 2019 Blue Devils won the Morgantown Regional in three games, before failing to Vanderbilt in the Super Regionals.
- Duke's pitching staff has been lights out to begin the 2023 season, moving into third in the country with a 2.21 ERA. The mark is second in the ACC behind this weekend's conference opponent Wake Forest (1.98). The Blue Devils are also third in the country in strikeouts per nine innings with 12.5, second in the ACC behind Wake Forest (13.8).
- Freshman Andrew Fischer extended his hitting streak to nine games on Wednesday evening against Northeastern. Fischer holds the longest active hitting streak on the team, after sophomore Alex Mooney's 10-game streak was snapped on Sunday against Princeton.
- Junior backstop Alex Stone was named to the 2023 Buster Posey Catcher of the Year Watch List last weekend. Sixty-five catchers were nominated for the award by the schools and will be narrowed down to semifinalists at the end of May.
