DURHAM – Duke Baseball (16-9, 4-5 ACC) steps back into conference play this weekend, hosting the Pittsburgh Panthers (11-11, 3-4 ACC) at Jack Coombs Field in Durham, N.C. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m. and is broadcasted live on ACC Network Extra.
The Blue Devils enter play Friday after defeating Liberty on the road to even the season series at one. Junior
Jay Beshears hit his seventh home run of the season in the top of the seventh inning to give Duke a 5-3 lead, before the Blue Devils tacked on two more to finish off the Flames, 7-3.
After taking the series from Virginia Tech in Pittsburgh, Pa., last weekend, the Panthers fell to Penn State on Tuesday in University Park, 16-8.
