QUOTES
- "We just didn't do enough to string offense together through the back half of the ballgame. Credit to Will Sandy he pitched effectively and used the zone to his advantage. I thought we did a lot of things really good today. You take away a couple balls leaving the ballpark I thought we pitched really well." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the final half of the game offensively.
- "I loved our poise out of the bullpen today. The job by Weaver to have a short memory. Proksch has a short memory. Hart comes in and does his job again. Charlie Beilenson was really tough to take the ball for a third day in a row. I tip my hat to those guys, they did everything they needed to do along with the defense behind them to keep us in the ballgame." – On the job the bullpen did to keep the game within striking distance late.
UP NEXT
