DURHAM – Duke Baseball (14-7, 3-3 ACC) hits the road for the second time in as many weeks, as they head to Chapel Hill, N.C., for a Thursday through Saturday series against the No. 15-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels (16-5, 2-2 ACC) at Boshamer Stadium. First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is broadcasted live on ACC Network.
The Blue Devils took their first ACC series of the season on the road last weekend in Clemson, S.C. Duke hit 10 home runs in the series to down the Tigers. Over the past five games, Duke has collected 18 home runs and scored 57 runs.

- Head coach Chris Pollard sits one win away from career tally number 700. - Thursday's meeting between the Blue Devils and Tar Heels will mark the 300th time the two have faced off against each other on the diamond.
- Duke Baseball has beaten its opponents by a combined 144 runs in the 14 victories this season, including seven double-digit margins of victories. On the flip side, Duke has lost its seven contests by a combined total of 17 runs. Only twice has the margin of victory for opponents been greater than two runs.
- Sophomore Alex Mooney collected his 10th multi-hit game of the season on Tuesday, raising his season average to .386. Mooney began the 2023 campaign with a 10-game hitting streak, before having it snapped against Princeton.
