DURHAM – Duke Baseball (13-7) returns home for a midweek matchup against the Towson Tigers (6-15) at Jack Coombs Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. and admission is free. The Blue Devils are coming off a road series victory over Clemson, the first in ACC play this season. Duke hit 10 home runs during the weekend and moved to 3-3 in ACC play.
Towson enters play on Tuesday, following being swept by UNC Wilmington at home to open CAA play. The Seahawks scored 10 or more runs on the Tigers all three games and Towson combined to use 18 pitchers.
General parking is located in the Science Drive Garage, while ADA parking is located in the Whitford Lot.

- Duke Baseball has scored 141 of its 186 runs this season from the fourth to eighth innings. That number accounts for 75.8% of the Blue Devils' scoring this season.
- Senior Chad Knight made his return to the lineup on Wednesday, finishing the day 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI. He finished the week with six RBI, driving in the go-ahead run in the ninth on Sunday.
- Junior Jay Beshears has produced 28 RBI this season, leading Duke and ranking 31st nationally and fourth in the ACC. He hit three home runs this past weekend at Clemson, including the game-tying blast in the top of the ninth.
- Sophomore Alex Mooney hit his first home run of the 2023 season on Wednesday, a two-run blast over the green monster at Fluor Field. Mooney has now collected nine multi-hit games this season, the most by any Duke player.
- The Blue Devils pitching staff has tallied 241 punchouts so far this season. The number is fourth in the country and second in the ACC behind Wake Forest.
- Duke hit 10 home runs against Clemson this past weekend, including five in game two of the double header Saturday. The 10 big flies are the most in a series since Apr. 22-24, 2022, when Duke hit 10 home runs in Atlanta, Georgia against Georgia Tech.
