QUOTES
- "We were really tough. We had some self-inflicted wounds earlier in the game and it allowed them to get back into the game. We were tough enough not to give into it and sometimes that is a really hard thing to do on the road in a hostile environment. Our team showed great fight. The apitomy of that fight is Luke Storm being the one to tie the ballgame up. He has a tough day in the field defensively but is tough enough to go up there in a big spot and pick himself up and the team up. I am really proud of him. Damon Lux, what a step-up moment for him." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the ninth inning rally to take the series.
- "That is three innings covered over the final half of that game by freshman. They have really good stuff. Not only are competing at a high level, but they are well prepared because of the job Brady Kirkpatrick does to get these guys ready. When you have that kind of quality stuff, your margin of error goes up. They are able to attack the zone maybe like some other guys can't get away with." – On the job the freshman arms did to close out the game for the Blue Devils.
