QUOTES
- "I am really proud of our team. I just told them that, but we gave them a lot of free offense in the third inning, three runs, which turned out to be the difference in the ballgame. I really liked the way we battled our way back into the ballgame. Our energy and fight was outstanding." – head coach Chris Pollard on the fight late in the ball game.
- "Tyler Albright, Andrew Fischer and Cole Hebble off the bench provided a spark at the bottom of the lineup and our pitching late was great. The job that Weaver, Nard and Oschell III did over the last three innings was great. They were tough and worked around traffic, while competing really well." – On the spark that guys off the bench gave the team heading down the stretch.
