QUOTES
- "He had really electric stuff tonight. He came out and set a tone in the top of the first and that just empowers your team. They had the double play in the first when we had a chance to do some damage and then had a two-out hit to score a run and gain the momentum. I just loved our answer there in the bottom of the second inning. I thought we kept our foot on the gas pedal after that all day long." – Head coach Chris Pollard on sophomore Jonathan Santucci's start and the offensive firepower in game one.
- "Our guys had some really locked in at bats tonight. The thing that I really like was we didn't give away any at bats late. Sometimes you get into situations in games like this where guys get too loose and try to do too much, but we stayed locked in. Cole Hebble comes off the bench and carried his at bat like it was a 2-1 ballgame. That just shows so much maturity and I liked our team approach all day long." – On the mature at bats throughout the entire game.
