Senior guard Jeremy Roachbecame the 68th Blue Devil all-time to eclipse 1,000 career points in his Duke career, scoring 17 points against Arizona on Friday night.Â
The Blue Devils are now solo third in NCAA Division I for most 1,000-point scorers in program history, ahead of Notre Dame and Villanova.
Roach is the first Duke player to cross the threshold since Grayson Allen, Luke Kennard and Amile Jefferson all did so during the 2016-17 season.

This year is the sixth all-time opening to a Duke season with two ranked opponents in the first three games -- joining the 1956-57, 1957-58, 1969-70, 1979-80 and 1999-00 campaigns.
