DURHAM – The Duke wrestling program travels to Morgantown, W.Va., to compete in the West Virginia Duals in the WVU Coliseum on Sunday. The Blue Devils open the day at 1 p.m., against Kent State, before taking on Cleveland State at 3 p.m., and ending the afternoon with host West Virginia at 5 p.m.

Aidan Wallace captured his first collegiate win, after a sudden victory decision, 8-5, over Michael Goldfeder of Cal Poly last weekend.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE SERIES
KENT STATE
Kent State and Duke will face off for the first time in program history. Kent State is coming off a ninth-place finish at the Clarion Open last weekend in Clarion, Pa. Pablo Castro finished sixth individually after registering five victories throughout the tournament, including a major decision and a fall.
CLEVELAND STATE
Duke's dual with Cleveland State will mark just the third meeting all-time between the two programs, with the series tied, 1-1. The pair last met Nov. 17, 2013, with the Blue Devils securing a 19-16 victory in Bloomington, Ind.
WEST VIRGINIA
West Virginia and Duke will go head-to-head for the first time in program history. The Mountaineers opened the season at the Southeast Open in Salem, Va., last weekend and claimed three individual titles. Jett Strickenberger led the way as the 125-pound open champion, while Jordan Titus collected the 141-pound title and Ian Bush won the sophomore/freshman division at 184-pounds.
