Blue Devils Set for Summer Ball

DURHAM – With the 2022 season wrapped up, members of the Duke baseball team will travel to play collegiate summer ball.

Duke has six players set to play in the Cape Cod League. The Orleans Firebirds will host Josh Allen and Graham Pauley, while Jonathan Santucci and Billy Seidl will join the Harwich Mariners. Alex Mooney, who was named to the 2022 ACC All-Freshman Team, joins the Falmouth Commodores and Adam Boucher is set to throw for the Cotuit Kettleers.

Six Blue Devils will be in the New England Collegiate Baseball League for the summer. Martha's Vineyard will be home to three Blue Devils, Collin Bosley-Smith, Ryan Higgins and Grant Norris. Ryan Higgins and Alex Stone will play for the Dansbury Westerns and Nick Conte will play for the Ocean State Waves.

Tyler Christmas, Fran Oschell III and Sam Yelton will compete in the Coastal Plains League over the summer. Christmas has joined the Florence Flamingos, while Oschell III will play on the Holly Springs Salamanders. Yelton is rostered by the Thomasville HiToms.

Devin Obee and Luke Storm will team up this summer in the Northwoods Baseball League on the Kalamazoo Growlers. In addition, Menelik Israel will play for the Charlottesville Tom Sox in the Valley League and Jimmy Romano will join the Jersey Pilots of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League. Â
