DURHAM – Three members of the Duke baseball team were named to the 2022 All-ACC Academic Team, which was announced by the league office Monday.

RJ Schreck, junior
Chad Knight and freshman
Alex Mooney from the Blue Devils joined 63 others from the across the conference to earn All-ACC Academic honor this season. Schreck is a repeat honoree after earning his first career mention last season.
The highly-decorated Schreck graduated from Duke in May with a degree in computer science with minors in economics and cultural anthropology. He has been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll four times, the Dean's List twice, CoSIDA Academic All-District twice and now twice to the All-ACC Academic Team.
Additionally, the outfielder from Los Angeles, Calif., was a first-team All-America selection by the NCAA Senior CLASS Award, announced last week.
Knight, a rising senior economics major from Westport, Conn., was a CoSIDA Academic All-District III member this season, while Mooney, a rising sophomore shortstop from Rochester Hills, Mich., was a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2021.
Minimum requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a 3.0 GPA for the current academic year, will be released later in July.
