DURHAM – No. 7 Duke women's lacrosse (14-1, 5-1 ACC) is set for its final home game of the regular season Saturday. The Blue Devils will square off against No. 2 Boston College (13-1, 5-1 ACC) Saturday at 1 p.m., on ACCNX. Ben George and Debbie Taylor will be on the call.
OPENING DRAW
Duke and Boston College meet for the 20th time in program history as the Blue Devils lead the all-time series 14-5. The Eagles have captured the last three and are playing in Durham for the first time since 2018.
LOOKING BACK
The seventh-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team captured a 15-14 victory on the road against Virginia Tech Thursday evening in Blacksburg, Va. With the win, the Blue Devils improved to 14-1 overall and 5-1 in the ACC. Duke's record is its best start through 15 games since 2006 when head coach
Kerstin Kimel's squad reached the NCAA semifinal game. Duke was led offensively by
Katie DeSimone and
Abby Landry with five and three goals, respectively. Thursday marked back-to-back hat tricks for Landry while
Catriona Barry tallied a career-high six assists. DeSimone and defender
Cubby Biscardi paced the defense with three ground balls each.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
The Eagles enter Saturday's contest as one of the best in the nation, their lone loss coming to then No. 2 North Carolina (15-16) in March. Offensively, Boston College is led by Charlotte North (63g, 13a), Jenn Medjid (50g, 13a), Caitlynn Mossman (26g, 21a) and Belle Smith (30g, 15a). Their scoring offense is second in the nation (17.79) behind Duke. Goalkeeper Rachel Hall has seen action in 13 contests and owns an 8.64 GAA and a .404 save percentage between the pipes. Boston College's defense is ranked sixth nationally. Saturday will feature two of the best draw control specialists in the country -
Maddie Jenner and Charlotte North. Jenner tops the nation and owns a whopping 189 total draw controls to North's 97, who is ranked 14th.

Through 15 games, Duke has tallied a whopping 270 goals and 127 assists for 397 points. Its 18.00 goals per game and 26.40 points per game rank first and second, nationally. Duke has proven to score fast and furiously this season and has received scoring contributions from 21 different players. Not only are they scoring in bunches, the Blue Devils are also sharing the ball well, assisting on nearly half their goals with 127 assists on 270 goals, led by
Catriona Barry (32) and
Katie DeSimone (22).

Duke is 14-1 (5-1 ACC) this season and is having one of its best performances in recent history. Duke's record is its best start through 15 games since 2006 when head coach
