THE OPENING TIP
- Entering the ACC Tournament as the overall No. 1-seed and the outright ACC regular season champion, No. 7 Duke battles Syracuse on Thursday in the quarterfinals at 12 p.m.

- The Blue Devils own the ACC Tournament's most wins (105), best winning percentage (.700) and most titles (21). Under Mike Krzyzewski, Duke is 67-23 (.744) in the ACC Tournament with 15 titles -- the most by a coach in conference history.Â
- Duke's win over Kentucky in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden in November was the program's 100th all-time game in the greater NYC area (73-27, .730). That includes 45-25 in NYC, 7-1 in Brooklyn and 21-1 in East Rutherford, N.J.Â
- Sophomore Mark Williams was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and third-team All-ACC, while Paolo Banchero was named Freshman of the Year and first-team All-ACC. Junior Wendell Moore Jr., was named second-team All-ACC, while freshman AJ Griffin was an honorable mention All-ACC selection.Â

- Duke leads the conference in all-time Defensive POY selections (five), Freshman of the Year honorees (13) and total All-ACC selections (153).Â
- Duke closed the season winning seven of its last eight games, including eight consecutive road ACC wins. The Blue Devils played eight of their final 12 games this season away from Cameron Indoor.Â
- Over the last six games, five different Blue Devils led the team in scoring, including freshman Trevor Keels' career-high 27 at Pitt on March 1. For the season, Duke has five players averaging double figures in points, led by freshman Paolo Banchero's 17.1.Â
- Banchero was a third-team All-America pick by the Sporting News -- the 75th All-American in program history (52nd under Coach K).Â
- Leading the ACC in both field goal defense (.413) and three-point defense (.302), the Blue Devils are the only power conference team leading their respective conference in each category.

Duke has been the ACC Tournament's winningest team all-time with conference records for wins (105), winning percentage (.700) and titles (21) entering the 2022 tournament … Under

Duke and Syracuse have met 19 times with the Blue Devils leading 13-6. New York City has long been a home-away-from-home for the Blue Devils -- a city where the program has won 73 percent of its games … Duke is 73-27 in 100 games all-time in the greater NYC area, including contests in Brooklyn (7-1), East Rutherford, N.J. (21-1) and a 45-25 record in all version of Madison Square Garden … Duke has played once in New York already this season, beating Kentucky, 79-71, in the Champions Classic at MSG on Nov. 9 … Duke has won five straight and six of its last seven at the World's Most Famous Arena … Of Duke's 7-1 record at Barclays Center, its is 5-1 in the ACC Tournament -- going 4-0 to win the 2017 title and 1-1 in 2018.Â

Duke enters the ACC Tournament with five players averaging double figures in points … Five different Blue Devils have led the team in scoring over the last seven games, including
Trevor Keels' career-high 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting at Pitt on March 1 and
Mark Williams' career-high 28 at Syracuse on Feb. 26 … Eight different players have at least one double-figure scoring game this season, with seven of them doing it six or more times … Duke had three players score 20+ points at Syracuse -- Williams (28),
AJ Griffin (21) and
